About Scewo
Scewo builds electric wheelchairs that open up new possibilities. At the heart of our product range is BRO: the world’s first electric wheelchair that self-balances on two wheels and climbs stairs. It makes places accessible that were previously out of reach – stairs, curbs, and steep paths. GO marks the next world-first innovation: a new modular platform that brings Scewo’s advanced technology to even more people and adapts to their individual needs.
Founded in 2017 as an ETH spin-off and headquartered in Winterthur, Scewo develops, manufactures, and delivers everything under one roof. Scewo is primarily active in the DACH region (Switzerland, Germany, Austria), but has customers around the world. The company is committed to accessibility and the continued development of mobility aids and has received numerous awards for its work, including the Red Dot Award, German Design Award, and Swiss Medtech Award.
